Labor Day on the South End of Lake Coeur d'Alene
Celebrate Labor Day the logger way in St. Maries at Paul Bunyan Days. Carnival, parade, logger contests, and live music, Sept. 3, 4 and 5. Top it off with the awesome fireworks show Sunday night.
Four on the Floor will perform in St. Maries at The Blue Ox, "Idaho's biggest topless bar," at Paul Bunyan Days, Sept 3, 4 and 5. After years of wrangling, the city mother and fathers have nixed the street dance. Now the live music and all the partiers who formerly jammed a full block on Main Street will be safely coralled into the Blue Ox topless bar, (it has no roof). That must mean the topless bar will be huge this year!
 The Ryan Larsen Band. plays at Harrison's Gateway Bar and Grill on the waterfront, Sept. 3 and 5.
Darrell Sullens is the Artist of the Month at St. Maries Art Gallery at 704 Main in St. Maries. Attend the reception and view his oil paintings on Sept. 3, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
The Jam Band plays Sept. 4 at the Gateway Bar and Grill on Lake Coeur d'Alene.
The Perones will entertain at the Carlin Bay Resort, near Harrison, Idaho on Lake Coeur d'Alene, Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3 to 5 (not Steve Livingston as previously reported).

The legendary Chicago Folksinger Michael Smith performs at Sun Meadow Family Nudist Resort September 11. Smith travels constantly, playing concert halls and house concerts, clubs and festivals, including the Philadelphia Folk Festival, & Victory Gardens. He has also worked with Corky Siegel and John Prine and even played a concert with Pete Seeger. He is probably most famous for writing the music for the Steppenwolf production of John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath, which toured the world including a stint on Broadway. 31st Annual Santa Barter Faire
 Crafts, produce and vintage items will be offered in the annual trading circle near Santa, Idaho on the weekend of Sept. 11 and 12. The only free barter faire left in the Northwest, as far as we know. Head for Santa and look for the signs. Bring your drum.
Haul Ass to Harrison and Classical Glass Boat Show
 Classical Glass Boat Show Sept 11 on Harrison's waterfront from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No registration fee. People's Choice trophy will be awarded. Anyone who thinks they have a classic fiberglass boat, old or new, is encouraged to come show it off.
The Jam Band returns to the Gateway Bar and Grill Sept 11.
The 12th annual Haul Ass to Harrison Show and Shine is Sunday,  Sept. 12th with registration ($15) starting at 8:30 a.m. in City Park. This is an open show and motorcycles are welcome. The annual chili cookoff starts in the park at 11 a.m. Prizes and giveways at 2:30 p.m.
Robb Boatsman and Rampage will perform at Haul Ass to Harrison Show and Shine Sept 12 in the city park overlooking beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene.
